Vietnam – a Small Gem in Asia

Consider Vietnam for your next vacation.  It’s a country blessed with astounding scenery and a
plethora of sites that bring the old together with the new.  It’s the place to
discover impressive culinary traditions and delight in a vibrant culture.

As the weather changes from
region to region, you’ll have to decide when you wish to travel.  The north is
characterized by cold winters while other areas are warm year round.  To avoid
monsoons the ideal months to visit are April, May and October.  Or opt for
Christmas when it’s the busiest and one of the most fun times in the
year.

If your journey begins with Hanoi, you’ll be a witness to more than one thousand years of history and a strong French
colonial influence.  It’s best to join a guided tour to see the impressive One
Pillar Pagoda built in 1049, the Temple of Literature and Ho Chi Minh’s
Mausoleum.

Ho Chi Minh City, formerly Saigon, will show you contradictions
between a Vietnam of the 1800s and the one of today.  View the Saigon Opera
House and the Jade Emperor Pagoda filled with interesting statues.  Explore Chinatown and stroll through the Ben Thanh Market.  If time allows attend a musical concert
and hear original sounds that date back to the Mongolian invasion.
